MARCELLO TOTTI (Czech Rep., Mexico) Marcello Totti was born in February 2,1977 in Liberec in the Czech Republic. He inhereted his love for the music after his father,who belongs among the best Czech pianists. Therefore it was as well the main reason, why M.T. entered the ZSLU (The music school) in 1983. He begun to play piano and sing in the worlwide known choir Severacek. He started to compose his own music during this eight years at ZSLU. He composed his first song in the age of 10. It was song for his first school love. His style was influenced a lot by his father and father s Jazz band. He was really interested in music styles like RAP,R&B and Hip Hop. There was the inspiration to create his own rap project called C.M.B.(Cash Money Brothers)in 1991. C.M.B. was the first and the only groupe to come to tour with, in that time really famous band, RAPMASTERS. The members of Rapmasters noticed his great talent and asked him to colaborate on their new CD Tri na tri,where his first track was shown.. There was another Cd released in the same year.,singl “13 hodin na stanici Hvezda”. M.T. and former singer of Rapmasters founded new project Babylon in 2000. He composed the music for the internacional commercials for Mercedes Benz,Honda Aprilia a Audi DSR in the same year. He also worked with Dara Rolinc, A.Zika and Zipofilm. He has begun his DJ kariera in 2002. He went to live in Mexico the next year and he started to spin in the small clubs in Mexico City. After winnig the competition, he was the first Czech DJ in history, who signed the exclusive contract with Dj Prime Agency. and the magazine Dj Concept . He is resident Dj of the club Mansión and Liverpool 100 in Mexico City and the world famose club Palladium in Acapulco. He is playing in the clubs all over the Mexico and south America.He is exclusive Dj of butiques Armani Exchange as well . He was nominated in Dj and Clubbing Awards of latin America in the category “the new talent of the year” in 2006. Su gusto por la musica fue heredado, su padre ha tocado el piano por mas de 48 anos y es considerado como uno de los pianistas mas habiles de su pais. Totti ha estudiado piano desde los 6 anos en praga y para 1994 ya habia formado su propia banda, c.m.b., con la que gano un reconocimiento como la mejor banda debut. Su talento tambien se extiende al baile, en su pais natal ha ganado cuatro veces un certamen de free style. Su capacidad como compositor fue evidente desde los anos de su banda, y la ha mantenido, pues ha compuesto musica ha gente como rapmasters, dara rolinc y para comerciales de tv que incluyen marcas como honda, mercedes benz, audi... Su carrera como dj empezo en el ano de 2004, despues de adentrarse al mundo del house y la musica electronica. Su especialidad es el progressive house y house funky, los cuales mezcla a lo largo de cada noche de fiesta. Algunos de los dj..s de talla internacional con lo que ha alternado son dj dimitri from paris, sandy rivera, miguel migs, por mencionar algunos. Actualmente se mantiene como dj residente del prestigiado y vanguardista club mansion, mexico d.f. Marcello Totti se narodil 4.2.1977 v Liberci. Svoji lásku a talent k muzice zdědil po svém otci, který patří k předním českým pianistům. To bylo hlavním důvodem, že se M.T. stal v roce 1983 členem Základní Školy Lidového Umění (ZSLU). Začal studovat hru na piano a zpev v celosvetove znamem sboru Severacek Behem 8leteho studia na (ZSLU) se zacal věnovat své vlastní tvorbě. Svou první skladbu složil již v 10 letech pro svou školní lásku. Na jeho hudebni styl měl vliv především otec a jeho Jazz band. Od svych 14 let byl ovlivňován styly RAP, R&B a Hip Hop. Ty byly i hlavním důvodem k založení jeho prvního vlastního projektu C.M.B. (Cash Money Brothers)v roce 1991. S touto skupinou RAP stylu se staly první a jedinnou předkapelou, v té době hodně popularní skupiny, RAPMASTERS. Rapmasters nenechali jeho neobyčejný talent bez povšimnutí a požádali M.T. o spolupráci na svém novém CD “Tři na tři”, kde se také objevila i jeho první skladba “Pár slov”.A v tomtéž roce byl vydan i singl k CD Tři na tři “Remix 13 hodin na stanici Hvězda”,na kterém spolupracoval s J.Kodadem (Rapmasters) Tato spolupráce trvala 4 roky. V roce 2000 založili společně s bývalým členem Rapmasters Janem Kodadem projekt Babylón, který vedl ke spolupraci s Darou Rolins, A.Zikou a ZIPOFILMEM. V tomtéž roce složil hudbu k celosvětovým reklamám pro značky Mercedes Benz, Honda Aprilia a Audi DSR. V roce 2002 se začal věnovat DJingu. V nasledujícím roce odjel do Mexika, kde začal hrát po menších klubech. Rok poté, díky vítězství v konkurzu, podepsal jako první Čech v historii, exkluzivní smlouvu s DJ Prime Agency a časopisem DJ Concept. Je residentem klubu Mansión a Liverpool 100 v Mexico City a světoznámém klubu Palladium v Acapulcu. Hostuje v klubech po celem Mexiku a jihoamerických státech. Je exkluzivní DJ pro butique Armani Exchange. V roce 2006 byl nominován na Clubbing and DJ Awards pro latinskou Ameriku v kategorii “objev roku”. V současné době žije v České Republice.
